Curse Removed, Blessing Given
Galatians 3:14. The abolition of the Law, consummated upon the cross, involved the doing away of all the old restrictions which confined the Messianic inheritance to the Jews. Henceforth this inheritance, and the promised outpouring of the Spirit which was to accompany it, was open equally to the Gentiles. The one condition now was faith, and that intimate relation to the Messiah which faith implied. Ellicott

How Jews and Gentiles
in Galatia Would Hear This
Jewish believers
They would realize:
The blessing promised to Abraham is fulfilled in Christ, not the Law.
The Spirit’s presence proves the new covenant has arrived.
Gentile believers
They would feel profound
joy:
“We are fully included in God’s family—without becoming Jews first.”
This verse destroys all
spiritual hierarchy.
In Christ, all are heirs.
